Is-sinjal għal XALATA għandu tlett partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti isir is-sinjal modifikat għal FESTA. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn u jagħmlu moviment ta’ ċapcipa imma bl-idejn jaħbtu ma’ xulxin ħdejn il-polz. Il-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra u l-idejn jieqfu biex il-linja tal-moviment taċ-ċapċipa tkun orizzontali. (ii) It-tieni parti huwa s-sinjal għal WARA (fil-ħin). Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u, waqt li jitla’ l-fuq, idur biex il-pala l-ewwel tħares ’l isfel, imbagħad ’il ġewwa u ftit wara ’l fuq. (iii) Fl-aħħar isir is-sinjal għal ĦAREĠ. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id timxi djagonalment lejn il-ġenb u ’l barra waqt li tixxengel vertikalment mill-polz.
